Sore Throats
A sore throat is mainly caused by a viral or bacterial cold or flu. You may experience symptoms such as:
A dry, scratchy throat
Difficulty in swallowing
Mild coughs
Red/swollen neck glands
These symptoms usually go away within the course of 3 days, however it can take up to a week for some people to feel better. With medication, symptoms can be controlled to help soothe your sore throat.
Difflam
Difflam throat and mouth spray provides a remedy for your sore throat and eases inflammation and pain. This is an easy to use compact spray suitable for adults and children.
Difflam’s spray includes the active ingredient benzydamine hydrochloride, which belongs to the group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, known as NSAIDS. NSAIDs works by reducing the inflammation and pain that is caused by a sore throat. they can also be used to treat:
Mouth ulcers
Sore tongue or gums
Teething
Distress caused by dentures or dental procedures.
This is suitable for adults and children aged 6 or over.
How to Use?
Make sure to carefully read the instructions on the package before use.
Turn the spray tube at a 90 degree angle.
Press the green plunger down until you see the spray emerge to confirm it is working properly
Aim the spray to the sore part of your mouth or throat
Press the green plunger down according to the dosage
Wipe the end with a cloth or tissue
Push the spray tube back down to stop any more puffs being released
Recommended dosages:
Children 6-12 years old - Spray 4 times to the affected area every 1.5 to 3 hours
Adults - Spray 4 to 8 times to the sore area every 1.5 to 3 hours.
