What are Germoloids Suppositories?
The suppositories provide a fast treatment for internal piles as they are formulated with two active ingredients known to soothe and shrink swollen piles.
These active ingredients are zinc oxide and lidocaine hydrochloride which are contained in Germoloids ointment. Both forms offer a way to relieve any swelling, pain, irritation and discomfort from haemorrhoids.
How to Use (Suppositories)?
Insert a suppository into the anus, one in the evening and one in the mornng ideally after a bowel movement.
Do not use more than 4 suppositories within a 24 hour period.
Before and after use, make sure to wash your hands thoroughly.
Make sure to wash the anal area and lightly dry the area with a soft towel.
Remove one suppository from the foil strip and peel the foil open.
Slowly and gently insert the suppository into the anus, with the round end first.
Who are Germoloids For?
This is suitable for adults and children aged 12 or over.
Pregnant or Breastfeeding
Can be used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, however contact your doctor before use.
Side Effects and Precautions
With any medicine, side effects can occur although not everybody experiences them.
If you continuously experience any of the following side effects after using Germoloids, consult your doctor immediately:
Burning
Irritation
Pain when excreting
Pain when applying the cream
Redness around the anal area
