What is Piles?
Piles, otherwise known as haemorrhoids are lumps that are found on inside and around your anus. Haemorrhoids develop when the veins in your lower anus and rectum become swollen, as a result, you may experience certain symptoms such as:

Lumps in or around your anus
Pain or discomfort around the anus
Slimy discharge in your underwear or after wiping
Itchiness or soreness around your anus
A feeling of still needing the toilet after you have already gone.
If you have haemorrhoids, they normally get better on their own within the next few days, however medications are available to treat piles.
